Artist Registration Agreement

This Agreement is made and entered into under the laws of the Republic of Botswana (“the Laws”) between BLXCKHIPPY Entertainment (“the Platform”) and the registering artist (“the Artist”).

1. Platform Rights and Licensing

By registering on BE MUSIC, artists grant BLXCKHIPPY Entertainment a non-exclusive license to:

• Host, distribute, and stream musical content through music.blxckhippyentertainment.com
• Display artist profiles and related content
• Enable direct music sales to fans
• Facilitate merchandise sales through the platform

2. Artist Responsibilities and Compliance

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date profile information
• Ensure ownership or proper licensing of all uploaded content
• Comply with platform content guidelines and applicable laws
• Engage professionally with the BLXCKHIPPY Entertainment community
• Adhere to Botswana’s copyright and intellectual property laws

3. Platform Services

BE MUSIC provides the following services to registered artists:

• Music distribution infrastructure
• Direct-to-fan sales capabilities
• Merchandise integration options
• Community engagement tools
• Analytics and performance tracking

4. Revenue and Payments

All payments shall be processed in accordance with Botswana banking regulations:

• Streaming Revenue
  • Artists receive 30% of ad revenue from pages featuring their content
  • Rate may vary when content appears alongside other artists’ work
• Music Sales Revenue
  • 4% transaction fee
  • 10% platform commission
  • 86% goes to artist
• Merchandise Sales Revenue
  • 5% transaction fee
  • 15% platform commission
  • 80% goes to artist

5. Content Management and Rights

This agreement governs all content uploads including:

• Individual tracks
• Albums and EPs
• Artist profile materials
• Merchandise listings

6. Technical Requirements and Standards

Artists must comply with:

• Platform content quality standards
• File format specifications
• Security protocols and access controls
• Data protection requirements under Botswana law

7. Account Termination

The Platform reserves the right to immediately terminate any account that:

• Violates any terms of this agreement
• Engages in fraudulent activity
• Breaches applicable Botswana laws
• Misrepresents ownership of content

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved as follows:

• Initial informal resolution attempt between parties
• Mediation through an approved mediator in Botswana
• Final binding arbitration in Gaborone, Botswana
• Subject to the jurisdiction of Botswana courts

9. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Botswana. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Botswana.

By registering on BE MUSIC, artists agree to all terms outlined above and acknowledge that this agreement covers all future platform activities. This agreement is legally binding under Botswana law, and the artist accepts all terms and conditions stated herein.
