The policies governing the BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT ecosystem.
ARTIST DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT

Between: Blyston (dba BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT), a private business registered in Botswana ("The Platform"), and The Artist (the account holder).
1. GRANT OF RIGHTS
The Artist grants Blyston a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-bearing license to:
- Stream & Distribute: Distribute the Artist's sound recordings ("Masters") and associated artwork via the BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT web application.
- Public Performance: Publicly perform and transmit the Masters for the purposes of streaming to End Users.
- Marketing: Use the Artist's name, likeness, and biography for promotional purposes within the ecosystem.
2. FINANCIAL TERMS & REVENUE SPLITS
The Platform operates on a transparent revenue model. All earnings are calculated in USD and converted to BWP (Botswana Pula) at the time of payout.

Payment Thresholds:
- Minimum Payout: $70.00 USD (approx. P950.00 BWP).
- Payout Interval: Every 6 months, provided the threshold is met.
- Method: Payments are issued via PayPal or local bank transfer (at the Platform's discretion).
3. ANALYTICS & DASHBOARDING
The Platform shall provide the Artist with a digital Creator Dashboard.
- Real-time Tracking: The Artist can view total monetized streams, current balance, and listener demographics.
- Audit Rights: Digital logs are considered final, but the Artist may request a secondary review if a technical discrepancy is discovered.
4. FUTURE SALES FEATURE (IN-APP PURCHASES)
The Artist acknowledges that Blyston will implement a "Direct Sale" feature.
- Artist Control: The Artist may choose to place any Master behind a "Purchase Wall" instead of, or in addition to, the standard streaming tier.
- Transaction Fees: A 10% maintenance fee will be retained by the Platform from each sale to cover transaction processing, CDN hosting, and service upkeep.
5. WARRANTIES & REPRESENTATIONS
To protect Blyston and the ecosystem, the Artist swears that:
- Originality: They are the sole owner of the Masters or have cleared all third-party rights (samples, features, beats).
- No Infringement: The content does not violate any copyright, trademark, or privacy rights of any third party.
- Indemnification: If Blyston is sued because an artist uploaded stolen music, the Artist agrees to pay all legal fees and damages incurred by Blyston.
6. TERM & TERMINATION
- Duration: This agreement is "at-will."
- Removal: The Artist may delete their music at any time via the Creator Studio. Once deleted, Blyston will cease distribution within 48 hours.
- Final Payout: Any remaining balance above the threshold will be paid out during the next 6-month cycle.
7. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of Botswana. Any disputes shall be resolved via binding arbitration in Gaborone.
TERMS OF SERVICE (LISTENERS)

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing the BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT web application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws in Botswana. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the service.
2. THE ECOSYSTEM TIERS
The App offers two primary modes of access:
- Free Tier (Ad-Supported): Access to the global catalog with occasional audio advertisements. Listeners are limited to 6 track skips per hour and standard audio quality.
- Premium Tier: Available for P40.00 BWP per month. Includes an ad-free experience, unlimited skips, and high-fidelity (lossless) audio streaming.
3. USER CONDUCT & RESTRICTIONS
To keep the ecosystem healthy, you agree not to:
- Rip or Download: Attempt to capture, download, or "rip" audio files from the App for offline use or redistribution.
- Manipulate Streams: Use bots, scripts, or "click farms" to artificially inflate the stream counts of any artist.
- Reverse Engineer: Attempt to decompile or bypass any security protocols or monetization gates (like ad-blockers).
- Account Sharing: Share Premium credentials with users outside your immediate household.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- The App: The code, design, branding, and "BE" logo are the exclusive property of Blyston.
- The Music: All sound recordings and cover art are the property of the respective Artists. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive license to stream the content; it does not grant you ownership of the music.
5. BILLING & CANCELLATION
- Processing: All transactions are handled securely via PayPal.
- Auto-Renewal: Premium subscriptions auto-renew every 30 days.
- Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your account settings or your PayPal dashboard. Access to Premium features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the service, all sales are final once the Premium features have been accessed for the current period.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Blyston does not guarantee that the service will be 100% error-free or uninterrupted. We are not liable for any data loss or device issues arising from your use of the App.
7. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana. Any legal proceedings shall take place in Gaborone.
PRIVACY POLICY

1. INTRODUCTION
At BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT, we respect your privacy. This policy explains how Blyston ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our web application. By using the app, you consent to the data practices described here.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We only collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide a high-fidelity streaming experience:
- Account Data: Your email address and username (created upon sign-in).
- Usage Data: Which tracks you play, skip, or like. We track this to ensure artists are paid accurately and to provide your "Your Library" features.
- Payment Data: We do not store credit card numbers. All Premium transactions are handled externally by PayPal. PayPal provides us only with your Subscription ID and status.
- Technical Data: Your IP address and device type, used to manage active sessions and prevent account abuse.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
Your information is used strictly for the following:
- To Provide the Service: Maintaining your library, playlists, and Premium status.
- Royalties: Calculating the $0.003 USD per-stream payout for artists based on your listening history.
- Communication: Sending essential service updates (e.g., password resets or 30-day notices for price changes). We do not sell your email address to third-party advertisers.
- Analytics: Understanding global listening trends to improve the ecosystem's catalog.
4. THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSORS
To keep the app running at a high level, we use verified global infrastructure providers. Each has its own privacy standards:
- Supabase: Our primary database. They store your account credentials and library state.
- BunnyCDN: Our media delivery network. They handle the delivery of audio files to your device.
- PayPal: Our financial gateway. They handle all billing for the P40.00 BWP Premium tier.
5. COOKIES & LOCAL STORAGE
We use "Local Storage" and "Cookies" to keep you logged in across sessions and to remember your player volume and shuffle preferences. You can clear these via your browser settings, but doing so will require you to sign in again.
6. DATA RETENTION & DELETION
- Retention: We keep your data as long as your account is active.
- Your Right to be Forgotten: You have the right to request the total deletion of your account and data. Upon request via our support channels, Blyston will purge your profile and associated data from our active databases within 30 days.
7. SECURITY
We implement industry-standard security protocols through our partnership with Supabase to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

1. SUBSCRIPTION OVERVIEW
BLXCKHIPPY ENTERTAINMENT provides a Premium Subscription for P40.00 BWP per month. This is a digital service that provides immediate access to ad-free, high-fidelity audio streaming. By subscribing, you agree to an automated recurring billing cycle every 30 days.
2. CANCELLATION POLICY
You have the right to cancel your Premium subscription at any time.
- How to Cancel: Cancellations must be managed through your PayPal account under the "Automatic Payments" or "Subscriptions" tab.
- Effect of Cancellation: Once you cancel, you will continue to have access to all Premium features (ad-free listening and high-fidelity audio) until the end of your current paid billing cycle.
- No Further Charges: Once cancelled via PayPal, no further payments will be deducted from your account.
3. REFUND POLICY (ALL SALES ARE FINAL)
Due to the digital nature of the content and the immediate access provided to the service upon payment, Blyston does not offer refunds for:
- Partial months of service.
- Periods where the account was active but not used.
- Accidental subscriptions where the service has already been accessed.
- "Change of mind" regarding the ecosystem's catalog.
4. EXCEPTIONS (TECHNICAL FAILURE)
Refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of Blyston only in the following extreme circumstances:
- Double Billing: If a technical error causes you to be charged twice for the same billing period.
- Service Failure: If a documented server-side issue prevents you from accessing Premium features for more than 48 consecutive hours, and our technical team cannot resolve it.

We encourage all users to contact Blyston Support directly to resolve any billing issues. Filing a chargeback or dispute with PayPal without first contacting us may result in the immediate and permanent suspension of your account and your Artist Profile (if applicable).
